Good Neighbors

Through the story of the Good Samaritan, Jesus taught us who our neighbors are.  During this time of staying at home, many neighbors are finding creative ways to remain connected.  What is going on in your neighborhood?  Remember to add your name to the end of the post so we know who you are!

  1. I've seen more new-to-me neighbors and dogs than ever as people are going for walks. Our front yard is larger than our back, so Joshua & I regularly play baseball, kickball, and bocce in the front yard and see people walking by. Our neighborhood has also done things like "put your stuffed animals in the front window" and "color pictures of shamrocks/Easter eggs and put in your window" so that people can enjoy as they walk by. One new family in our neighborhood has an Easter bunny costume so the dad walked around in costume yesterday and greeted kids from afar, which was fun.

  2. I agree with Sarah - so many more people are out walking than ever before. We have a lot of sidewalk chalk art in the neighborhood, including a couple of driveways with buckets of chalk set out so passers-by can add their own comments or drawings.
